Steven Heller is the cofounder and the cochair of the MFA Designer as
Author program at the School of Visual Arts. He writes the Visuals
column for the New York Times Book Review and the Graphic Content
blog for T-Style; is editor of AIGA Voice; and is a contributor to Design Observer. He is the author, coauthor, and/or editor of more
than 120 books on design and popular culture, including the forthcoming

The Building is Alive!!!

BLU is one of the most enticing street art and design groups around today. While their website is a little overdone in the DIY conceit, they have some amazing work on it. Particularly this awesome collaborative animation with David Ellis, and other videos I urge you to see here. (Also, check out Print's 2008 interview with Blu here.)
You should also sample BLU's book of drawings (pictured above and below). BLU has a rich display on their website of murals they created in Berlin, Modena, and Milano, among other international locales.
